About me

Hi, I’m Julie.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or navigating a difficult season in your life, you don’t have to do it alone. I provide a supportive, compassionate space for teens, adults, and families to feel heard, understood, and empowered as they work toward meaningful change.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a private practice in Novato, California located in Marin County. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s College of California, and a Bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies and Psychology from the University of California, Riverside.

My background includes working with children, teens, and foster youth in school-based settings, supporting individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and behavioral challenges. I have also worked in a Crisis Stabilization Unit, where I gained extensive experience in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention. Currently, I work with adults in an outpatient clinic who suffer from severe and persistent mental illness and substance use challenges.

Therapy with me is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. My approach is integrative and client-centered, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), strength-based therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Together, we will identify what feels most supportive and effective for you.

My goal is to offer a warm, safe, and non-judgmental environment where you can explore challenges, build resilience, and reconnect with your strengths. I would be honored to support you on your journey toward healing, growth, and an improved quality of life
